As the founder and president of New Age Alternatives I have led an alternative lifestyle for more than 30 years, practicing yoga and meditation as well as following a vegetarian diet. Self Improvement has been not only a way of life for me, but also a life-long journey.

My social work and special education background/education as well as my bilingual communication skills have enabled me to meet the diverse needs of high-risk teenagers in an effective and professional manner. 

My education, which includes a B.A. in Psychology and Education, a Masters Degree in Social Work, and graduate work in special education, has been extremely beneficial in helping improve myself and others through self help  techniques and theory.
